Hope so - at MZ prices, don't think so.
Note to Self: Shiney side goes UP.

It's a blindingly good job.

Seat and rear mudguard - lovely
Tail light - nice
Wheels - really very nice indeed
Sidepanels - sweet
Exhaust - yum
Yokes and clocks - spot on.

Would comment on the carb but it appears to be missing  :D

Can't remember the last time I saw a production caff racer this good looking.

Back in 2008 they made this, there were some roadtests but I don't know if it was ever put into full production. Very nice looking bike, better than their standard cafe racer.

A lovely looking thing, a Continental GT for today?
Let's just hope if it has five speed box it's better than the one fitted to the original.

Well it is fairly obviously the new motor but it has way more of a classic look to it than an XBR, SRX or even the SR500. To be honest the fact that it's an RE motor is the one thing that will excuse its lacklustre performance (but brilliant economy so it's said). If it's as well put together as they say then it seems like a great bike.

Some people over on the 'Iron and Air' facebook page are saying things like "Looks good! But way too slow." For sure a fire breathing lump would make it a dream bike, but as it is I'm sure most of us would enjoy this bike enormously.

Overall I think it's bloody lovely.

It looks like a 5 speed box, they are meant to be pretty good and can be converted back to right hand change quite easily.

Apparently the easiest cure was to just put a 4 speed cluster back in, the cases having been used for that in the first place. it was just RE's bodged attempt to squeeze in another gear that caused problems. No real relation to this bike though eh? (thank goodness  ;))

I think they are bound to make this.

While the disc brake makes absolute sense the rest screams "dressing up" at me though. I hope I'm wrong but I think even the EFI motor will be in self destruct mode unless tuned for speeds well below the point at which those tyres and bars will be required. Price will be interesting, if it's meant to be ridden it should be less than a Triumph Thruxton?

An old washer woman who has undergone triple bypass dressed up out of Ann Summers.

I shall not comment further.

Did that sound bitter??? Be honest now.....

Mind you, you could buy this, remove the engine, shoehorn in a pokier lump and have a hoot of a caff racer on your hands  ;)

(For a lot less than a Hyde Harrier or Tonkin Typhoon)
