Hi all, just a sort of comment but I will leave you all to determine what you think of it. The title states my feelings.
As you may or may not be aware, I rebuilt an SRX400 earlier this year, and had it painted in a very bright Orange and Silver scheme (based on the BMW R90/s I believe). I didnt know at the time if the Thumperclub were having a stand at the Stafford Show or not so I emailed Mortons to ask if this bike would be accepted as a private entry into the show. As with all Mortons shows they expect you to send them a couple of photos of the bike , just to give them an idea of what sort of standard you are working towards I assume. I duly sent my 2 photos giving them an idea of what it was like. (I thought it was pretty good but thats purely my opinion).
When I received the letter of acceptance (back in July , just before I went on holiday for a week) I opened it and inside were not only (only) one of the photos that I sent in, but there were 2 black and white photos of the (unfinished) bike that I hadnt sent them but were copies of photos that I put on here to show bike progress......
As I said ...that made me feel just a wee bit uncomfortable.
Any thoughts or feeling from anyone or anyone else had a similar experience?
Ian
