« on: July 03, 2011, 09:19:12 PM »
Hi all especially those who managed to make it to Uttoxeter this weekend. I just wanted to pass my very best thanks to all who made it such an enjoyable time. It was a pleasure to be there and enjoy the banter & chat about everything including the odd bit if bike chat, I wont single anyone but those who were there know it was a good time had by all. Heres to the next one!  :D
Im including a few photos that were taken on my camera. If anyone else has any lets see them :)

Yes I agree with you Ian, it was a great weekend. Big thanks to all for your good company. Extra big thanks to Gareth who organised his first event as if he's done it for years.

It was a weekend of laughs and fun, I enjoyed every minute, even this morning's hangover  ::)

Roll on Stafford. We've had an invite and Gareth and I are probably going to share the organisation. Any offers of bikes would be great, but at the moment we are working out the details of a great stand theme and we will have to choose the bikes to suit. We're confident it's going to be a blinder of a theme.

Cheers
GC

PS
Hope everyone got home safe and sound and the trailer bearing held out!

The trailer bearing was as sound as a pound thanks. The traffic was quite light for the return trip and we made good time with just one stop for coffee at Strensham services.

Bloody tired now though, trying to keep my eyes open watching the GP on the BBC iplayer.

Yes, it was a great weekend, really good fun. The Thumper Club boys know how to party! Thanks to Gareth and Graham for putting the stand together, and Ian and Trevor for their great advice and SRX wisdom. Roll on Stafford which sounds intriguing to say the least... ;D

Rex ran a treat all the way home, and nothing dropped off. Only the second time I've ever ridden an SRX and it is loadsa fun. It may not be revvy & have a 3 figure top speed but opening the throttle to overtake & hearing the engine roar as the bike picks up strongly & instantly is just great.

I'm on the lookout for a kickstart lever if anyone happens to have one for sale... ???

See you soon

Hi Leah, just thought I'd say that I'm sorry if I was out of order stepping in and kickstarting your lovely bike. I'm a bit clueless about how to behave in public most of the time.

No worries Graham, I'm new to this and all advice and demos are very helpful to me, no offence taken whatsoever

Thanks from me too!  A great weekend.

Special mention must go to Ian for managing to get both his SRX-4s on the stand for Saturday.  How many miles did you put in over the weekend, Ian?

The weather was absolutely brilliant and we can heartily recommend the breakfast in Wetherspoon's  :)

See you in three weeks at the annual rally.

Christ! What a ride home (all of twenty minutes)! Excellent weekend and with such good company. Big thanks to Gareth for the hot'n'cold runnning buffet. Shame about the punter numbers but then I suppose it's a sign of the times. Hopefully see some of you next weekend at Martyns birthday do, and many more at the TC Rally.

Hi Trevor,
I did about 250 miles over the weekend but Im sure Gareth & co did many more than that by the time they got home. I would hardly say I did a lot but went out on the blue one tonight and boy did it feel good....

What I'm actually saying is:

The Kawasaki Vulcan OC were installed to the right of us.
