Aye johnr,

So how much short of the postage were you???????????????????????

There is no need to take the harrumph. I am happy to pay my way and ensure that you have a freebie on the TC.

As for the non-fitting of the lubricator! I've 2 Scottoilers working fine on the bikes, which we use as day to day. The Lubeman jobs were purchased for a couple of bikes awaiting rebuilding and likely to be used in better climes! If Mr Lubeman doesn't have the patience or courtesy to either 'Thank you' for putting trade his way, or consider that your life doesn't revolve around selling his device, then perhaps we should all take note with our custom.

My thanks again and kind regards, Bill.

Im sorry to hear you were down John. I will send you my deficit. My loobman is also for a bike that is being rebuilt, so I cant send as photo as yet. I know all the effort you put in as you gave us the run down as the tale went on. Mr Loobman is a bit of an impatient ar se isnt he? He obviously thinks we buy just to show off his goods. I think there was another reason that he is so blind he cant see the wood for the trees. Im sure we, on the TC site, will make sure you arent out of pocket too.

Kind Regards and thanks once again

Ian :)

*******, sorry I didn't reply sooner, but I hadn't looked at this thread. I too ordered an oiler for a bike I'm building, not one that's on the road so no chance of piccies sorry.

As for the deficit, this is a depressingly common thing. Every time I made a batch of T shirts for our Elefant Rally trips I lost money. You do the sums, you sell them all but somehow it's never right. My brother gets the same thing every time he organises a staff outing or golf trip.

I will send some more extra wonga over and I'd encourage all other TCers who bought an oiler to do the same.

Sorry to hear about your hassle, but thanks again for still taking the time to sort it out despite the aggravation.

GC

Edit - Just sent a payment via Paypal.

that wasnt a request for more money. stop sending it. ! i was just pissed off that nobody had bothered with the pics. i would have thought there might have been some by now. i know the other batch went out to the kat club guys in jan, and know for a fact theyve been fitted cos ive seen some of them, but still nothing forthcoming. its no big deal and loobman didnt say much, i told him id not got them all in yet, which is correct, in that none of them is 'not all' id just thought we would have had more by now. like i said its not a case of the money, which i'll be returning.

ok, pricing, ive been on to lobman, he will do us a batch of 12 oilers that works out at £ 10.50 for each oiler. postage will be £1.70 per oiler, if you want 2 or 3 oilers postage will be £2.50 for the lot. this is what parcel farce charges me.

my email addy for the paypal is  johnrregan@yahoo.co.uk when ive got payment for all 12 i will get them from him.

just for your info, loobman lists the individual oilers at 18 quid each on his website. so this is a handy saving.
