Boyd, have you sussed out if you need firewood yet?

Mark

Whats This ?

A Boyd Roast !    That would need plenty of Wood surley !

Jethro

You might get wood at the thought of giving Boyd a roasting but I'd rather just burn him.

I'd heard he likes the smell of burning rubber.

Just in case there wasn't already enough excitement from just being at the Annual Rally there are several awards up for grabs as well. To make sure you have a chance of coming away with one of the memorable awards either:

A) Get your polishing kit out (Best Bike 1st, 2nd & 3rd)
B) Get you matt black paint out (Rat Bike)
C) Ride to the rally site from Norway (Farthest Travelled)
or
D) For the more creative/imaginative amongst us (Best Hat*)

It's by no means compulsory and you will still have to go to work on Monday morning if you win anything!!!

Cheers

Good Evening all

Any chance of another category for those who travel shortest distance!!!

What time are the ride outs scheduled for on saturday as my wife and i would like to join you all?

Are the rideouts and rally just for owners of single cylinder bikes as I ride an F650 and my wife has a CB500 twin?

Thanks
Tim

Hi Tim
Sorry no prize for shortest distance travelled but you and your wife are both welcome to join the ride-out. This year there are two ride-outs:

  • Sporting (whatever that means) to Tregaron, Devils Bridge, Elan Valley - about 120 miles, leaving @ 10:15
  • Touring (less rapid) to Long Mynd, Ironbridge, Highley (Severn Valley Railway museum), Clee Hill leaving @ 10:30

Hopefully see you there.

Cheers
Boyd

    Sporting (whatever that means)

Sporting = Reasonably quick, but not stupidly so. No one will get left behind and the pace will be adapted to suit the group.

Got home a couple of hours ago after a gentlemanly paced ride with Big Bad Boyd. I had a great weekend and thank you all for making it so much fun. A special thanks to Boyd for letting me help with the itinerary and stuff, and the the Germans and and the lads from N.I. for all the extra travelling they had to do. I hope you all enjoyed as much as I did.

Yes, a most excellent weekend, we had a really enjoyable time.

A big thanks to Boyd and his dad for doing all the arranging,  ;D . I don't know which one of you was responsible for organising the weather but it was marvelous.

    Hats off now.

I kept the signing-in sheet in order to thank everyone that attended, but you obviously know who you are. So BIG BIG THANKS to you all for making mine and my dads efforts worthwhile. It makes it easier knowing that even if it was really cr*p the good natured, and generous, attendees would always emphasize the positive - after thouroughly taking the p*ss!

So again big thanks to all who made the effort. Hopefully you all got back safely and we'll see you around some place soon.

    Boyd
