A belter of a weekend. Good riding, good beer, belting company and incomparable food. Great to see all you reprobates again and some new ones like Ash.

Must do it again

Sorry I missed it. Oddly though, the pub next door to place we stayed had Copper Dragon on tap. Needless to say I had two or three in sympathy with the spirit of the event  ;D

Hope you had fun.

'I was in this wet field with a vicar and a policeman..........'

A fun weekend with plenty of stout and laughter.

My first trip to the venison farm was a tasteful delight and Jules culinary skills were exemplary. No chilli vodka or pickled eggs in sight.

Hope somebody can stick a photo up.

Excellent company, Julians Stew made my day, first class half-weekend (I know, I'm a bloody lightweight) but I still enjoyed it all. It was good see the vicar again and note that his invective matches his invocation, his mate, the copper from up the road was also on form. Well done Ash for attending, it was a bit far to the nearest cafe/chippy though, I hope you enjoyed your baptism of Jethro et al. All my photos were in the dark Mark, if no one has any day time ones I can "stick up" a couple from Friday evening.

To say nothing of the breakfast, tea and that warm jotul stove before we headed off.

As the sexual's excellent photos reveal Mr M was in fine off road form - examination of tyre pressure at Abergavenny revealed he had been riding on 6psi on the front all weekend. Inflation to a proper amount revealed a crack in the tyre fit to take a 10p. We got to just beyond Brecon when the side wall started to bulge and the recovery truck was called.

It wouldn't have been a proper weekend away without someone on the recovery truck - thanks to Richard for taking his turn so stoically

To take the tone ever lower than our usual standard, myself and a fellow student once consumed 24 cans of Murphys in a night that were sufficiently out of date to come free with eight cans of Boddingtons. For four days nothing then..........

Needless to say the sight of a bowling ball still brings back worrying feelings  :o :-X :o :o :-X :-[ :o
