Is it only me that has to log in at every visit. I thought there was the option to save the password.

Any ideas
Thanks Ken

There are several problemes with the login most of which as Ian said are to do with cookies. The cookie is set to expire after a period so you should expect to have to enter your credentials every so often. There is a problem with the forum and the drupal framework having a bun fight over which part should set the cookie, this often result in you being logged out.
In summary I know there is a problem, and what is causing it, but there isnt an easy solution to fix it.
