Hi everyone, just introducing myself. Been lurking around in the background for ages but decided it was time to say 'HI'. I'm katgeezer and as the name implies I collect katana's. However I also have an XBR lurking in the garage along with an XL600 lump and a couple of tuning goodies to squeeze into the lump for a bit more bang.Got a pair of Astralites to go on it although the weight saving will be somewhat lost as I weigh more than the bike  ;D.
Forgot who I met up at Uttoxeter so apologies.
Haven't started the project yet but I will hope to do so in the near future.
Cheers, Chris.

Hello Chris
Don't be affraid to stick your head above the parapet; only one or two of us bite and the worst offender (initials JK) has a restraining order! Welcome aboard and maybe see you around sometime.

Excellent! Another newbie joins the gang. You will fit right in as you have a garage with bits in it and I dare to ask do you posses a camping stove? There is a subset of club members who froth over petrol driven camping stoves.  :P

Thanks for the welcome  ;D

Tend to BBQ when camping as we usually cater as a group (KatanaOwnersClub) but we're not averse to starting the bbq with petrol!!!

welcome Chris.

Dare I ask......do you by any chance come from Wales?......have an (somewhat purile) interest in camping stoves or landrovers..

or are you (like the minority in this club) relatively normal ?

ok...i come from norfolk...and may have a few extra didgits about my person...... and this may be why we don't appear to have many members from the East......you see it's bluddy difficult changing gear with webbed feet....

Hello there, don't listen to the rest of the buffoons, the Land Rover and petrol stove subsections only constitute 10% of the club, it's just that we're the most vocal  ;)

Isn't someone in the Katana club building a DR800-engined Kat? I'd love to see that, it sounds the bollocks.

No I don't come from Wales  ;D, good ol' Sarf east london and funnily enough I've got ordinary fingers and toes, no webs or anything....

Johnr was/is building the Dr big engined thingy but he's got loads of projects on (like me!!!) and I'm not sure what number it is on the list.

Thanks again for the welcome  ;D

That works wonders - dont need much mind - about 10ml will do you fine.
