Ring, ting, ting, ting. Bang.
« on: April 25, 2010, 07:37:58 PM »
For some reason I just decided to bid on, and won, an ETZ300 MZ in Ffestiniog.

For some reason I always really enjoy bogging about on MZs.  Next winter bike.  The BMW hates starting in the cold (like me) and the XT is too high to fall  off regularly.

Richard (who really must start rationalising the quantity of MZ spares in  his garage).

That's great news!! When are we going to get it?
As a wise man once put on my mobile phone "MZs rule OK, comrade!"

Steffan ;D

Is it rideable?

Ooh, Jawa, now you're talking, does it have a sidecar.

I have an ETZ 250 in the back yard of the local bike shop. The bike has "Issues with Electrical Matters" but it's got a sidecar on it so I'm looking forward to having a p0lay with it, if it ever gets running okay!

Steve,

I intend travelling North to collect it on either Friday or Saturday.  It has 12 months MOT and purports to be working.  Fancy a trip back to North Wales then ?

Sidecarists,

I am now looking for a suitable and awesowmly cheap sidecar so I can take the children for rides and carry more beer to the Dragon.  Anybody got any ideas ?  Julian mentioned a chassis I think.........
