It arrived today, courtesy of Play.com my new acquisition to my rather eclectic music collection, the CD 'Man from Another Time' by Seasick Steve. It is rather splendid and wild.

I thank Jools Holland as he featured Seasick Steve on one of his hootenanny shows, either 2009 or 2008, time goes so fast these days I cant remember which. I knew I liked the music and I finally got around to ordering a CD of it. Prior to Jools' show, I had not heard this Seasick fellow before, so that is why I am thanking him...

I have both albums and they are rather good!  How the hell does the man get that much noise out of a guitar with 3 strings!!!!????

He even has his own website now.

First time I saw him was on that hootenanny but I wouldn't be surprised if it was earlier than 2008 as I seem to have had his cd''s longer than that. ???

Time blurs I have noticed of late. I went to write 1998 on a cheque the other day!! Oh dear.
