POTD
« on: March 28, 2010, 08:17:35 AM »
POTD, remember that? When SL used to come to Thumper Club events. To my knowledge the anly area of the country where we haven't had a meet has been over in Lincolnshire. How about arranging something Steve, usual prerequisites, camping near a pub etc. ;D
If I'm not working I'll be away on my bike camping!

Can do Steve.....real ale pub with camping etc (norton owners club use it sometimes......but don't let that put us off)
about 5 miles up the road from me, in fact....i'm just off there for a jar right now  ;)
I'm more than happy to set it up...in fact i seem to remember suggesting it a few years back but it sort of got lost.

It would make a change to hold a gathering in the East, lets see what people think?

cheers SL

Barring unforseen disasters, I'm in Steve ( Well I'm in Lincolnshire anyway so I can't really not go!!). I'm near Sleaford so if you need any help on this side give me a shout.  ;) ( You're near Kings Lyn aren't you?)

Mostly Steves' so far, all being well I'd come along and help level the odds.

Late August early September may clash with the Nederlanders Mono Treffen. First weekend in September I think. I shall be going over a couple of weeks beforehand for a bit of touring. Mart

ok....would the second weekend in Sept be worth a try.....certainly the campsite will be cheaper and available....and rooms would be available at a reasonable price for those who wish not to camp.

Sadly unable to do 2nd ( or 3rd) weekend in September as I'm away on family holiday. :'(  Oh well see what everyone else thinks.

Ooh this is looking good. Not too far, shouldn't be able to get too lost, may even get time off work to manage it. Pencil me in, please!
