Hi all
Just finished doing a service on my small thumper as fuel was dribbling from the carb overflow and it was running rich.
On removing the carb and taking the bowl off I discovered the brass floats appeared to have been crushed. I have owned this bike for about 12yrs and this is not the first time the carb has been apart.
The only thing I can imagine to explain this damage is if water had got into the carb bowl and frozen.
If anyone has got a more credible explanation I would be glad to hear it.
