Yes, show us pics and then I can demonstrate "incredible restraint" by not trying to borrow the money to buy it/try it  :D

As I remember from my cycling days long ago, Steve L is talking about something similar to this.

The Speedy Windcheetah Made by Mike Burrows somewhere in Norfolk/Suffolk as I remember.  Really well engineered and VERY expensive at the time - a lovely piece of kit. At one time you could buy it in kit form.

Thats the one....and as far as I know Mike only sold one kit, and that was to me....I think the company that now make the 'speedy/windcheetah' may have done kits for a while.

I sold my 'kit' one 7 years ago, and then wished i hadn't, so talked mike into selling me his.

See here for current prices/versions http://www.windcheetah.co.uk/

The one i currently abuse is similar to the expensive one, but with some xtra very nice touches by Mike (black anodized aero rims, lightweight full width break hubs carbon seat and more! )

I have tried uploading....my quota says it's used up, sent some to members gallery and one to projects....can't see any of them.....does the 'moderator' check them first?

Oh yes!  Check out some of the pictures in the 'Scrapbook'.

Smudge, I don't think Mrs Smudge will be letting you have one of these!

The heart says "YES!" but I suspect the wallet says "not a chance Carrick"   ;)

I rode one of those on trade day at the Alexandra Palace Bicycle Show sometime in the early 90s. I got a bit enthusiastic and lifted a front wheel... a tad exciting to say the least, it snapped me off-line quicker than my poor brain could react to.

Basic model + sports/touring pack + lights + VAT = Not much change out of £4000!!  :o :o

Very very nice but another one for the dream garage along with the Ducati Supermono, the Vun, the Vincent etc etc.....

My sincere apologies SteveL et al, for belittling such a fine piece of featherlight engineering.  :-[  However, I think I would prefer a Guzzi in the garage for that kind of money! ;D

Toodle pip, Bill.
