Occasionally, you can combine both.Years ago,a friend had a Suzi 380 triple. One day,he gave a lift to a very large chested young lady to Neath. When he pulled over in Neath,he asked her what she thought of the bike. She replied enthusiastically that she had enjoyed the ride-the vibration was turning her on.She didn't see any more of Neath. My friend turned the bike round and thrashed it all the way home.Last summer,I gave a lift to a very appealing lady on my XBR.When I asked what she thought of it,she said it was horrible-too much vibration through the footrests.Damn! How do I make the seat vibrate??

Ahhh the wonders of the Meridan Mastubator....

I think I unintentionally gave up one for the other and not got the balance back.  Threw the RD500 into a car and a dich whilst thinking about the woman who became Mrs Rog.  She works in the medial profession - as does her sister - and they both have seen too much of the bad side of bikea and not enough of the good side.  Mind the nascent Mrs Rog did come on the back of my pre powervalve 350LC whae I was a student - mmmmm she loved it and liked the Triumph Sprint we had for a while - was handling real bad - it was her standing on the foot pegs playing aeroplanes.

Oh well - wat ever happened to all the Easyrider's "A ride for a ride" t-shirts?

Get a Yam XS750 - 4250rpm (about 70-ish) for 20 minutes resulted in a glazed expression on the face of She Who Became Mrs KP ....  ;D

My g/f bought me a Tee the other day which had a snappy slogan which read along the lines of "I like my bike as it doesn't require chocolates, new shoes and shopping too keep it happy" something like that.
She wasn't impressed with the vibes on the SR500 when I had that, but she's non-committal on the Tenere.
Going with KirriePete's calendar marking, then I think the bike wins, purely as it gets ridden every day! Curses!

There are actually worse things to give up, imagine giving up listening to music or reading a book.

Sorry...

are you saying that a harder question would be, would you rather give up rumpy pumpy or bikes more than reading books?

LOL, now you put it like that I'm not so sure. Being a married man sex is a long-distant memory so that makes that part of the question redundant.

And yes, I do enjoy reading an awful lot and music is very important to me, it would be very hard to give those up so I'd say, upon reflection, that all three are about equal.

You really shouldn't make such sweeping generalisations GC. Have you ever considered that it might be you and not the institution of marriage?  :o
