Now you mention it, the old duffer's riding gear looks more Euro than Brit. Also, the XBR was very popular in Germany.

The bar-end mirror on the Norton is either on teh right hand bar and pointing outwards from the bar, or on the lefthand bar and pointing inwards, my guess is its on the righthand bar. Are flat caps worn anywhere else but the UK ?

What's wrong with flat caps then??  ???
(They certainly used to be worn in the States, dunno about nowadays)

More to the point, who stole the XBR's kickstart!?!

I probably shouldn't write this but I wear a flat cap on occasion.

Yeah, me too. I find my flat cap folds up very neatly into the pocket of my coat.

I also own a tweed jacket, which is a bit rum given that I grew up in a city and have lived nowhere else... by rights I should wear a shell suit.

In which case I can cough to owning a secondhand tweed jacket and wearing wax cotton frequently.

Also I have a walking stick and shotgun certificate.

Does this make a country chap ?

A theme for Uttoxeter, or indeed next years Dragon clothing?  ;D

Or we could have a TC visit to the clay pigeon shooting, I've just got to work out how to carry the side by side on the bike.....

That 'Britches and Hoes' cameo is a bit racy old boy!  ;)
