Been into my local bike shop and inspected a rather nice secondhand MT-03. All very exciting, checked with insurance company to see if they will allow the change of bike and cover me, which they will. Going back tomorrow so the shop can give me a proper quote on the trade-in value of my YBR125 against the sale price.
Been checking on Yamaha's own site and doing a back-to-back comparison with the XTX660X. Now I am confused. They run the same motor, produce the same BHP, but bizarrely the MT-03 has a slightly lower torque value! How does that work? How can the same engine have different values?
Anyway, I like the beast and I think part of me has already bought it. Oops! My SRX is never going to get fixed now....
