And now I'm back. We did four days camping in Saundersfoot (near Tenby) and then three nights at St Brides.

I got the impression in West Wales that a lot of people are 'staycationing' this year. Tenby was heaving with visitors.

Anyway, we had a marvellous time and apart from having to miss several episodes of The Wire (season 4) it was a good week. I rang my daughter tonight and she brought me up to speed on The Wire in readiness for tonight's episode. It was only afterwards that I wondered about how suitable it is for a 15 year old girl  ::)

Back to work tomorrow, ripping the guts out of a cycle shop.

Going to Tenby next month. A lot of the visitors have gone by September. You have to try the chippy on the the corner of upper frog street - the Italian one who's name eludes me at the moment - they have the ice cream parlour too.

Just back from a week helping out on a Guide/Scout camp in the Tirol in Austria  :)
Fabulous scenery, great weather, good fun... the only downside was watching (literally) hundreds of bikes of all shapes sizes and ages cruise past on these glorious touring roads  :-X I was as green as a Kawasaki at times  :D still a damn good week away though  8)

Looking into the motorail options for next year when swmbo has some leave available!

Off to Narberth myself this weekend, I suspect a trip to Tenby south beach will be on the cards ;D Absolutely love that area, so relaxing and also so close too. 8)

I got back last weekend from 3 weeks up in the Western Isles, Wester Ross and Sutherland. With the motorhome rather than the bike this time, however I'd love to re-visit on two wheels.
