Classic Motorcycle Mechanics & Dr Rod.

Very sad to learn of the death of 'Dr' Rod Gibson, editor of CMM.  I know this was brought up briefly in a POTD responce recently but I didn't think many would have seen it there.  I met him a couple of times at Stafford - nice bloke, he'll be missed.  :(

On a lighter note, a good issue of CMM this month with write up's on the Honda CBX250 and the Suzuki SP370/400 along with the DR and GN400 models. Worth a read.

Agree with you Steve. A genuine bloke, who seemed interested in most things 'bike'. I guess we're all coming to an age were family, friends, acquaintances are going to be 'popping-their-clogs'; a sad but basic fact!

Sorry for the depressing tone. So just make the most of it and get out there and do it!!!!!!
