Silly question
« on: June 22, 2009, 08:19:43 AM »
For those of you who regularly attend bike shows, how much are autojumblers charging for old copies of Classic Bike these days? I'm bringing nearly two decades of the mag to Uttoxeter to sell.

I've got to that point in life where I'm starting to see a lot of this stuff (mags, crappy bike spares, old fairings, etc.) as an impediment rather than useful to have. Is this a hallmark of middle age?

Cheers

It is a hallmark of old age...

Pigfarmer mags seem to sell them for a couple of quid each, but I guess a whole stack would go for less pro-rata.

Maybe keep them in a box and have a wander around first to see what the going rate is.

Or contact Pigfarmer and ask what he would give you for them - would save carting them up there?

Generally about £2-4 depending on condition.  A lot of people want them 'as new' and scruffy ones go for less.  You might get a bit more for a first issue or particularly interesting article.  The old XBR ones I've bought on Ebay have been about this price.

Now I've got a whole pile of Uralmoto leaflets..I wonder what they are worth?.....
