Of all the luck

I've just been reading a news story about a Japanese bloke who was badly burned in the Hiroshima atomic bombing. He went into hospital, but the next day they moved him to another hospital in his home town of... Nagasaki  :o

He's just been recognised by the Japanese government as being a survivor of two atomic bombings.

You're both right (sort of), he actually moved to Three Mile island when he retired. He still lives there today and refuses to move again, especially after that disasterous Chernobyl goodwill visit a few years back  ;)

Although I did see an interview with the old dear who survived the sinking of the Titanic and then was a nurse on board Brittanic when she sank, *and* was on the lifeboat (no4? ) which was smashed by one of the still turning propellors causing loss of life...
She wouldn't have a bad word said about the liners mind you!!  :o
