A lovely weekend spent down at Hilliard Towers in Somersetshire to attend the Bristol show. We couldn't believe our eyes at how big this years event was-there was so much to see what with there being more halls filled with trade stands than I've seen there before. The weather was pretty decent meaning a very good turn-out. The highlight for me was a "brand new -zero mileage-straight out of the crate" RC30 which Bonhams are going to auction...oh to have £16-20k going spare!
Colin bought a few bits and bobs (and very nearly has his heart set on a Guzzi Stelvio courtesy of a lecture on it from those nice chaps on the  Moto Guzzi club stand) and he even (cue drum roll) bought me a pint! I lashed out on a can of ACF50 and that was it.
Well worth the £9 entrance fee and a good way to start the year. Perhaps we should get our club stand here again eh?
The evening was spent in a local hostelry with the pair of us quaffing lovely West Country ale, Colin supping Sharp's Doom Bar and me Somerset & Dorset Ale from the Cottage brewery...lovely.
Cheers Colin, we must do it again next year.
