Sometimes for the trip to work I need a teleport.
Other times, I wish the road was longer and I wasn't actually going to work, but on a trip to Brighton or  somewhere else warm and wet with icecream!

Either way, choosing betwixt a 125 and a 1200 is irrelevant as its the environmental conditions of the ride that dictate if I am enjoying it or not, rather than the trusty steed I am using.

So really what it boils down to is this ;

The heart will over rule the head every time and we buy what we want rather than what we really need.
Gs man with his tomato season in will rush out and buy his 1150 actor replica ..because that is what he wants .

Don't forget , I ride bikes because I want to, as I suspect do most if not all of us .However, most of the stuff we do on bikes ,we can do in cars ,even camp ! ;)

No no, i need a 1200 which as you know is what i have,i want a 1400.

I wouldn't let "environmental conditions of the ride" dictate to me as i wouldn't let anybody dictate what bike they think i need ::),and as for camping in cars, well i better not provoke or the whole post might be removed,

"thats right i said it!!" 8)

I can trump that.  Ran over myself on a bike once.  Bloody hurt too, didn't even fall off.

PS.  Spent the evening down the pub, as if you can't tell.

Not too sure about that No 2 ??? For me, the older I get, the more comfort I want. The more comfort I want, the more kit I have to lug about. The more kit I have to lug about, the bigger (physically) the bike I need. The bigger the bike, the bigger the engine.

I'm not saying my 650cc single can't haul all my kit. It can. But it would be soooo much nicer to arrive after a long journey on something that pulled my lardy arse and kit effortlessly rather than on a bike that stuggled.
