Well the feedback is spot on 100% for over 1270 items. But it does say these goods are returns and may be faulty.

I see one of the items said the the velcro had fluffed up.
I also sometimes think when things arn't waterproof that it may have tracked up sleeves or down boots cos i didin't put them on properly. I know that even the best gloves I wear often get wet because the rain runs down my sleeve.
as you say the feed back seems good.

Looks good as long as the fault descriptions are accurate. The condition rating thing is handy. I've stuck a bid on a pair of boots.

Fancied a pair of the Gortex trousers until I read that they were returned because they were not water proof - somewhat defeats the object of buying them really.

Still, as Thumpeteers getting wet is part of the fun (or so they tell me!).

my waterproof trousers cost £8 from the camping shop, worn over leathers in winter and jeans in summer (if i can remember that far back).

just let me say that I bought a pair of their top flight cordura trousers from the Cardiff store. The gusset in the crotch tore through about a year later and there was no help forthcoming as I couldn't find a receipt. "Could be a seconds  we sell at bike shows" was the response. I wouldn't touch them again with a barge pole.

Mmmmm not sure of the actual wording of the law but I remember a shop I worked in was brought up short for not accepting the customers word that they had bought something from us, as the lawyer explained, under English and Welsh law, that the person says they bought something from you that you sell is enough, they do not need a receipt and it is up to you to mark seconds as such.

Dunno if a Lawyer can confirm this?
