new SRX
« on: October 11, 2006, 05:01:21 PM »
got a [new] SRX today. she looks lovely but now I have to make decisions. Do I transfer the good bits to "Wicked" and sell what I don't need or is she too nice to break. If so how do I tell my faithful old slugger that it's time they found a new home to make way for a replacement. ? Or? Or?Or? Still they are good decisions to have to make. Some people are not even lucky enough to have one SRX. I'll post some pictures soon. Mart

Well done mate!!

SRXs- can't beat em.  Fact of the matter is, you shouldn't sell any!!  Electric leg on the new one?  The old one was very pretty....

Cheers for now

Hi Andy,
No electric start yet, this one is a year older than the one that I already have. The new one is a Japanese import but looks very clean and tidy and has a lot less wear and tear

Why dont you put the best bits onto your new bike and keep it for 'fairweather biking' ?  Keep your old faithfull for all weather riding (rain, ice, snow, salty gritted roads, green laning etc).

P.S. how do the japanese keep their old 'exports' so mint ? They are always imacculate and even the alloy parts  still have the laquor on and aren't corroded (usually).

Nice looking bike (for an SRX) matey :-) too good to break up surely, could be time to lay the law down to 'wicked' and make her fight for her space in the garage. A new girl in town might make buck up her ideas :-)
