Thanks for your concern about my nuts matey

You've given me the nod on fibreglass before and I've used your pointers in my design.
1) I've used a high grade, chemical & heat resistant resin (at considerable expence I might add. 4x standard price

)
2) I've used 2 layers of woven glassfibre cloth sandwiched between 3 layers of 450gsm Chopped strand matting. The woven cloth has the tensile strength of steel.
3) The seam is designed to have 15mm surface to surface contact area and will be overlaid by glassfibre tape.
4) All tank to frame contact areas are rubber and there are no fixings being used to hold the tank to the bike. That is being done be a strip of Nurse Gladys Emanuel's knicker elastic (or something similar

)
Add to that this is going to be a toy bike for sunny days only then hopefully my nuts should be safe

What do you lot reckon??
