Dragon routes

I am doing some updates on my Dragon Rally site (http://www.dragonrally.org.uk) and I want to compile a list of good eating houses and stopovers enroute to the rally. For instance, all those heading North on the A470 are familiar with the gem that is the Dolwen Garage Café.

Do any of you thumper Dragoneers have a favourite stopoff on your Dragon route?

Cheers

There's the riverside cafe between Llanidloes and Newtown too. Good Grub.

AND... would any of you care to submit your Dragon tales to my website? Even four paragraphs is enough, but of course longer tales are good too.
