Awwwww!!
Thanks guys, those words are very much appreciated. I was in two minds as to whether to put something up, grief being quite a private thing and all that. He went very suddenly and it was quite a shock to us all. However... [insert philosophical quote here]

''Here's tae us, wha's like us,'' Damn few, and they're a' deid
Andy, he often used that one! How strange, eh??! Some others I will share with you as I often use them, and I'm sure they weren't his anyway! I honetly use these nearly every day. An explaination for my apparent tighness perhaps?

Buy cheap, Pay dear!A wise (scottish!) man indeed. I will see if I can't find some old thumper-interest photos. For info GC, he was friend of Bob Mac, who introduced him to racing. Bob countersigned the old man's entry to the racing club, and I think I have a few photos of them together. He always got dewy eyed talking about Bob, and missed him 45 years on.
Anyway, see you soon, thank again,
andy
