Annual Rally Date Please.
« on: March 11, 2008, 06:21:10 PM »
Hi all,

Just a line to ask if we have a date for the Annual Rally and the location?? I believe Steve Dolby is not doing it this year. The reason for asking is I will need to book the leave and the calendar at work is filling up very quickly.

Come on guys please tell. ;)

Best Regards
Colin Hilliard

Hello Colin
Long time, no see (hear). Hope all is well with you?

I said that I would organise the rally this year but as yet just haven't got around to it. I had (honestly) been intending to visit a few sites I had in mind this weekend but something has come up. Hopefully I can do it on Sunday and I'll get back to you all.

Just so that you can at least book the time it will take place over the weekend:

18-20 July somewhere in the Peak District
Venue to be confirmed

Cheers for now
Boyd

Hi Boyd, long time no see.....When we last spoke at Stafford last year, I thought you had made plans to use the camping field at the VJMC meet at Uttoxeter.
I'm glad it's not the following weekend as Pat & I have booked the Chunnel to France on the Friday.
Are you going to Llanthony?

The VJMC get-together was possibly going to be the venue for the Annual Rally but after various rumblings it was decided that it would be better as a separate event.

Yes, I am going to Llanthony but only for the Thursday & Friday nights. Need to be in Stafford for 15.00 Saturday for an Iron Butt Rally information session.

See you soon.

Is that a public school euphemism  :P

I would never have taken you and Jules for old Eatonians?
