Im looking round at prices for having my Crusader blasted, frame powdercoated (would prefer stove enamling) bodywork resprayed and a bit of chrome work.
The tank is looking to be expensive, i thought they could plate just the sides, but turns out they do the whole tank and then strip it off where you want the paint. I've had two quotes for that - one at £150 - £175 and the other was round the 300 mark.
I will consider taking parts to different places if it means my wallet doesn't implode, but obviously one place to do the lot would be great. I want it to be half decent but funds are short.
so any recommendations? and the closer to Milton keynes the better.
and someone did say that its not too hard to strip the frame etc yourself. any thoughts on that?
