OK Christmas day yesterday and I finally got to loose some arrows from my longbow - mmmm possibly slightly on the heavy side - but I will grow into it, nice parellel track marks on the bow hand from the fletchings an a small bruise from where the knocking hight slipped and I was caught with the string below the bracer. But all in all a good day - a little late - but good.
