Stafford tomorrow
« on: October 18, 2007, 07:50:21 PM »
I will be bringing some bacon and bread for breakfasts. I will also have my two ring gas cooker, a kettle, tea and coffee, etc.

I have a coffee machine for the stand and all the necessary disposable cups and stuff that go with that.

As I'm coming up on the outfit I can't carry too much stuff this year, but we should be able to muddle through.

I went to Stafford showground last weekend and we DO NOT have an electrical socket, or even one nearby. If you get this in time don't bring the coffee maker. I know its not quite the same but I will bring my big flask!

And for anyone else who's staying over - if you could bring a fold-up chair of some description it might help your piles.

See you later today................

Ha ha, didn't see Boyd's post before I left.

It all worked out though as a socket had appeared.

In the end I took:
Sleeping bag
Tent
Mattress
Ground mat
camping pillow x 2
2 ring cooker
gas bottle
pans
kettle
2 pounds of bacon
4 tins beans
tomatoes
lettuce
ham
48 bread rolls
bottle of wine
70 newsletters
box of cooking implements
plastic plate (state of the art, ask Jethro)
cooker stand
clothes for the weekend
spare boots
one-piece racing leathers (to sell)
coffee machine
disposable cups
sugar
filter coffee
filters
espresso coffee
1 pint milk
various magazines and bits and bobs of club paraphenalia

And... the sidecar still managed a steady 60mph most of the way there, with the exception of the final four junctions of the M6 which was grid-locked.

Cheers
