Cheap Outfit
« on: August 25, 2007, 01:07:44 PM »
Hi All,
Due to a bit of a financial crisis (entirely self inflicted  :-[ ) my XBR outfit is available *cheap* for any TC member who wants one. It's parked in Dunfermline and needs a choke cable (sitting on my shelf in garage) and mot/tax (should be ok)
Also probably a battery as it has been sitting for a while.
I'm going to be away from next Friday for a couple of weeks so contact me this week or thereafter. If no club members want it then it will be getting mot'd and fleabayed  :(
Oh, and while I remember, a friend is selling an MT500 as well, very clean, fresh MOT and tyres and the easiest starting MT I've ever met! (I want it... but I can't have it... poo!)
Cheers,
Smudge

Sorry to hear it's got to go, that was a nice outfit.

If you no longer have a use for that 10" wheel mudguard, can I have it back? I will pay the postage. Another potential charioteer needs one down here.

And... out of interest, mail me off-forum with an idea of what you mean by 'cheap' :)

Cheers
GC

Better still give a clue on forum as to what range 'cheap' is?

Oh BTW GC - interested in finishing off the bog or not?

Yeah, I'm interested to know how much 'cheap' is too. No doubt not cheap enough for me but I am curious. Any idea how much for the MT500? Again, just curious but one of these days I'm going to get myself one of those.

Cheers,
Dave

OK you got me... I hadn't actually decided what I was/am prepared to accept hence I said cheap rather than naming a figure!

If it goes on ebay with an mot then I'll want £750ish

To you lot now? Well depends who's asking, (make me an offer..) certainly a good deal less! (and I'll throw in overnight accomodation, use of the ubergarage to get it going and a few beers and bad jokes forbye  ;D )

As to the MT500, if it's still up for grabs (not spoken to the gent for a few days) then he's looking for about £800, and I would have to say it's a bargain if you get it for that!
