Looking around some old URL's and came across this 'front page', don't remember it being this good. Oh the engineering!

Good to read that the AR went well and nobody flooded out of house and home. Sally 'hors de combat'! However, adjustments have been made, spares are awaited and hopefully she will return to 'active service' in the near future.

The Oldrice site uses a copyrighted 'rolling' set of images and it's 'pot luck' if you get the monowheel MV Augusta, Laverda SFC etc! However, a good site for a 'rake about'.

It is on a rolling copyright - and you have to hope to pot luck that it shows in Bills message

My apologies for wasting your time, whilst you were urgently removing SRX's from under cobweb filled tarps etc. for re-builds. This impulse of energy must be derived from the damnable wetness. Bike rebuilds during the wet tropical summers and riding them in the clear, cold and dry polar air of winter.

Has the polar flux flipped as well?

What a great site, beautifully put together and very informative.

Just took a look at the GB500 page, what a lovely example of the breed.

I know this is an unrelated long shot but does anybody know if the Supertrap exhaust is still available? I doubt it and I can find zero trace on the Supertrap site but if you guys don't know nobody does.

Incidentally, is there a USA Thumper site? I tried the links page and the very top link to another named Thumper site was the only link I could find that may be the USA equivalent.

Aye Andy,

There was an American 'Thumper Page' and you may still be able to access it's remains. Unfortunately a hacker gave it a right doing and the last I heard it had been closed down. I have not tried accessing it recently, but it used to be good for a blether and GC and others would occasionaly post on it as well (spelling?).

I may give it another whirl and if nobody beats me to it will give it a new thread on here.

As for the 'currant bun', it's been warm and not to bad up here today. Whilst the 'drop in' over the Sidlaw Hills and a low tide on the Tay as I came west from Wormit to Newburgh along the coast road was just magic. Fiery reds and oranges with pale blue Arctic air blue sky, black silhouette hills and the whole lot reflected on the mud flats, sandbanks and ebb waters of the Tay. Magic.

Now have the mug of cocoa with a touch of mixed spice in it and a wee malt chaser!
