Both are lovely in their own way - that Duke is a real head turner and the mods he's made have added to it and not detracted from it IMO. The Supermono is nice too, and be a damn sight cheaper.

mmmm, well andy, as you know, I know the thumper, and i know the builder, and saw it at denver some time ago. Gary Cotterell makes fast racers, no doubt about that, look at the complete GRC and GRC framed bikes in the supermono series.
I'm very tempted I must say....pity the auction ends while i'm in the IOM

Wow!!  That is really effin nice...  But as has been said, not really our sort of money I fear!!

Cheers for your regards for Pembrey.  Just picked up a new oil cooler made to my pattern.  Nicely done, but its neither elegant nor delicate.  This it should probably hold up to the vibes pretty well, certainly better than the last one.

So for me its just Pembrey (2 races), I'm missing Donnington and mallory (both one day jobs), and a glorious swan-song at cadwell in october.  If the bike still exists and runs, I'll be pleased, cos it makes a cracking wee roadbike again, just not much cop in the supermono series.  In which, incidently, I am currently fourth in the aircooled championship!  Due to tactical efforts (ie. being last, but starting and finishing!)  Will be trying hard not to blow it up...!
