No wheels

Twas a sad day yesterday when I sold my wheels. Yes the SR250 has gone to a better place and do you care?  Not really,no neither do I coz it means I now have enough funds for something a bit more substantial.  (phew, that was a big word for a little toad).  Hopefully another thumper but I'm keeping my options open. It's a case of "I'll know it when I see it"

Best of luck with the search. Little tip - Leave the money at home when you go for the first look. Makes you take the journey back and the quiet reflection on whether it really is the perfect bike for you. If it's meant to be, It'll still be their when you get back :-)

Mind you, you might be more level headed than me. I do have a tendancy to fall in love very easily and regret what I've ended up with later (except for the current Mrs Squirrel of coarse ;-? )

NO YOU'RE EXACTLY RIGHT,I WOULD BUY ON IMPULSE AND MAYBE REGRET IT LATER. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT IF I'M MEANT TO HAVE IT I WILL DO.
WENT TO LOOK AT AN EN450 AT THE WEEKEND (bear in mind that I need a low seat).  I KNOW IT'S NOT A THUMPER BUT IT FITTED ME PERFECTLY AND FELT RIGHT.THIS ONE WAS A BIT OF A RAT BUT IF I SEE A NICE ONE I WILL BE VERY TEMPTED.ALSO CONSIDERING THE SAVAGE COZ IT'S A SINGLE. STILL WANT TO BE IN THE TC WHATEVER .

Toad,
I have obviously missed something - I thought you were riding a Skorpion?

Steffan, you're getting your amphibians mixed up. Its Frog who rides a Skorpion.

This is not by way of a slur on#4, but I'm not sure TOAD would welcome pogoing on the kickstart of #4!

Maybe a looksee at the SRX400E in the 'Classifieds' at present might be useful. I have nowt to do with the owner etc. Just noticed the location and thought of the possibilities.

Cheers, Bill

Course you can!......the srx doesn't respond to bluddy great kicks....just stroke it gently through the decompressor cycle and away she goes!.....honest.....anyway, you should try before you buy....good luck
