I'm 'avin a spot of bovver
« on: February 18, 2022, 08:03:33 AM »
Hi All

Every now and then I have difficulty finding Thumper Club when I enter it in my Google search thingy. At the moment it comes up with Thumper Club .org, Thumpertalk and some other random thumper related items. I have to be ever more inventive to find a way in to this site. Anyone else find this?

Morning Ian (sorry spartacian😉) in a word NO. However I have the TC icon saved on my I pad so simply just tap that and hey presto, I can sit and read ALL the well informed threads and jokes at my leisure.

Morning, OH Japanese Galactic Hero!

Occasionally use Google for the translation app and the maps, but due to tracking and hoovering of my activities for marketing etc., I prefer to use DuckDuck for day to day searches.

Other thought,  ::)  is your browsing history becoming choked? In which case I would suggest a clean and defrag of your hard drive!  :-\  Not painfull and should see an improvement in your browsing abilities. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE WHAT TO DO, ASK. I am comfortable doing it on my desktop, but not advising others on "HOW?" to do it. The necessary tools are part of the Windows software package.

Good health, Bill

Don't you use bookmarks? I have all my regular sites organised in folders which means it's very easy to find them. Of course if you use a phone or something it may be harder.....

Oh blimey thanks all of you for the replies, I recognised a lot of the words as being English, but beyond that you lost me!

I very deliberately know zero about computers, but in order to combat my determined ignorance I have a son who is a computer tech so I guess he will be getting another visit from dad looking puzzled again.

I was hoping it would be something like switch the bathroom light on and it will solve it!

Thanks anyway chaps.

Computers get indigestion, do not feed them Rennies but senna (Senokot) and liquorice(Pontefract cakes or Dutch chilly liquorice twists! :o ), little but often. Son may be equivalent to calling out DynoRod!  ;)

Oh they haven’t lived. They’re a round, (about a 10p piece size) soft liquorice sweet.... Dee lish. Guaranteed to keep one regular if you know what I mean 😉🚽

And if you want to go OTT with liquorice: letterboxliquorice.co.uk

I have tried the "Wasp stings"! They do!  ;)

I've never bothered with that Alexa because we're lucky enough to have a Bill to ask👏😎
