Really amazing.
The bit in Scotland was so far ahead of its time. Mind you there wasn't much plastic waste then.
I watched a programme the other day about rubbish tip archaeology and that was amazing a frightening. They were looking at a tip in Essex, probably that one, and they were showing the amount of rubbish that was leaching out straight into the Thames estuary. They also dug up a newspaper perfectly preserved from 1980! Still perfectly readable. The worst was the polyester clothes that looked the same as the day they were dumped.
I wonder if they still process waste the same way in Scotland now.
