This is one for the slightly older club members. Did many CB250SS's get sold in the UK?

Don't think I ever saw one in the UK, but it looks pretty similar to the CL175 and CL350 (never saw a 250, but quite a few of the other 2) sold in NZ and OZ.

I presume that the SS bit stands for Street Scrambler? I never made the connection with the SS50 (my first street legal bike) until I read this today - was that a "Street Scrambler" too? - it always had an upswept exhaust I think, even if the 4 speed models had narrow flat bars.
