The forum needs updating to the latest version so will need to take it down for a shortish period of time.

Your mention of "toying with cheaper hosting". Does this mean that you are running low on funds to operate the site?

The volume of traffic on the site doesn't warrant the facilities that are currently being payed for and a cheaper package would suffice?

Do you require a subscription?

Understand that transferral of the site to another host would take time and cause disruption.
