BOO !
Been through several of my fitting guides.
Rule of Thumb is basically.......as there are no hard and fast instructions as it varies from bike to bike and sidecar choice. On top of that personal preference.
Any way they all say basically the same thing.
Distance between motorcycle and sidecar frames should not be greater than 10-14inches
Distance between the center lines of the bike rear wheel and the sidecar wheel(sidecar lead) 8-10inches. Mine is about 12".
Toe in(sidecar wheel pointing towards bike front wheel 1/2-3/4inch. Mine is a full inch maybe a little more...a little too much on mine but does track in a straight line very nicely no effort at all to hold her in a straight line.
Lean out(bike leans out a little) 1/8-1/4 inch. Theory being when sidecar loaded this will bring the bike upright.....Got mine upright,or near as damnit.
Fit the chair and try it....make a few adjustments, but only one at a time and see how it goes.
Do increase tyre pressures by 1 or 2psi.
You will need stronger springs front and back.
Dont be too suprised if it shakes it head upto 30mph.A steering damper maybe needed.
Didnt need one on my Beemer....but do on my Bonnie, same chair.
I will be fitting another chair to my Bonnie when I get the chance, have finished welding the chassis, got to paint it now.
Best of luck.
Jethro.........Its an Adventure ! 17 years on outfits and I still scare myself, occasionally
