Hi guys anybody up for a Holyhead to Dublin ferry over to Shepherds Rest this year rather than Liverpool to Belfast. I refuse to ride my motorcycle into Scouse land.  Cheers BradXT (Cliff)

I'm looking at going that way, same as I did with Boyd a few years ago. I'm probably catching the afternoon sailing on Thursday and returning on the Monday afternoon, but I'll be getting a flexible ticket in case plans change.

Stena Line are doing 25% off until midnight 15th January, so it's working out at £107 return.

Sorry i have not responded to your post earlier Trev, but I  have not been on the site for a good few weeks. What time Holyhead ferry are you looking to catch on the Thursday and the Monday and I will look to book the same times if you have no objections. We can meet up in Holyhead and travel up to the Sperrins together, again if you have no objections. Cheerz Cliff

14:00 Thursday, and 14:50 on the Monday.

No objections at all - glad of the company. We may have another traveling with us, but he's yet to confirm.

Yes, I'm good to go for this now.  I did gave a bit of a medical issue and thought it may preclude me from going, but got good news last week, phew.

I've missed the bargain ferry prices but it looks like the full fare is only £120 so I'll book the same times as you guys....

Durrr, You wouldn't ride through scouse land, the ferry leaves from the Wirral.

Not booked yet, but ill most probably go on the overnight from Birkinhead to Belfast on the Thursday night, and back Sunday night.

.....and now it's potentially bad news again. I had a letter from the hospital this morning  . My attempts to do this seem to be cursed, but I'm still holding out hope  .

Ferry finally booked, and they're doing 25% off again, so £92 return means more beer money  .

I've booked the 2pm from Hollyhead to Dublin on Thursday afternoon and the 2.50pm return on the Monday.

Really looking forward to it now
