After being knocked off Sally and the "OH! I am sorry I didn't see you" comment being recited, I decided to see if I could fit something to Sally that would make us more visible in traffic or low-light conditions.
So after procrastinated 'research', I purchased a pair of LED 'Bright-eyes' from Paul Goff, they arrived promptly and were well packed.
Fitting was straight forward (apart from the intermittent 'short circuit' in the parking bulb circuit that I found after a long trail!

), I used Japanese 3.9mm connectors, crimped and soldered to make the connections, using the parking bulb feed for the power and the indicator earths. This means that the central position on the light switch, illuminates the LED's and the rear light and when the headlight position is selected they remain lit. The wee metal 'stalks are fashioned from stainless steel wall ties used to bond brick and concrete block walls to the timber frame of a building that are then bolted to the lower head yolk, using the clamping bolts torqued to their correct torque.
They appear to make other road users aware of your approach, without dazzling them and I suspect cost less than the 'marker lights' fitted to BMW GS1200 bemoths.
