Peak District 6th and 7th July 2018
« on: June 12, 2018, 08:41:02 AM »
Mick, (Roey) has organised a wknd on the above dates at a pub with showers and camping. The Waterloo Inn, at Biggin by Hartington, SK17. Not far from the Royal Oak at Wetten for those that know it. Usual suspects will be there, and all are welcome. Just turn up, and there will be a ride out on the Saturday  :)

I think the rideout will be quite short. England v Sweden, Kick off 3:00pm. We could well be in a pub! 8)

I would like to join you, but I'll be here:

I'll be pretending to be a casualty in a train crash, among other things.

Have a good one.

Sounds like a much more altruistic way to spend the weekend than riding bikes, getting sunburnt and quaffing too much ale Trevor!

Have a good weekend and hope to see you next month.

So glad I make the effort to call over. So good to see a few Thumper faces from the past. Will try and make the next meet and actually stay over.

Have a good weekend and ride safe

A fantastic venue with great company as always. I arrived at the pub about 7pm, and some had been there since lunchtime! The craic was mighty, and it was absolutely fantastic to see Boyd again after so long. He even left the guys a load of beer, cause he'e that sort of fella  :)
I could only stay last night, but look forward to our next meet up.

Yep,thanks to Boyd for the  beer. A great weekend , sorry you couldn't stay both nights Tim, Saturday night was another epic capped by the landlady bringing us a tray of drinks on the house then followed by a 'lock in'.
Good to see both you and Pete too.
By the way, Toffee Vodka is the future! 😀

Yeah great weekend. Nice bimble out yesterday and a great craic in the pub both nights. I don't think we'd left any subject unmolested by the end of the weekend  ;). Thanks to Boyd for the beers and to Roey for organising it all.  :)

A great weekend topped off by the England win. Came down on the little Honda Cb250rs and had a blinding run around following Mick. Took the drinking steady for a change. Fed well, slept well and had a lovely run back. Just got home to a flat rear tyre!.
Cheers to Mick for finding a grat little spot to camp.

Cheers Steve
