Greetings Steve,

Hope all's good with you.  The piston hit the valve on the dyno, so compression is now atmospheric, rather than stratospheric!!  I have still to get the head off.  Lax I know, but the usual crap gets in the way:

-House decoration (eeeesh!  DIY- a hobby for people with no imagination!!)

-Moving out of said house into flat with "The Squaw" in a coupla weeks- best not start an immobile project!  (new gaff has a garage tho- bliss!)

-Van needs an MOT in a few weeks.  Currently the gremlins have, I believe, taken up residence in the relays, or at least somewhere in between the switch and the bulbs!  Air suspension will be an interesting learning curve too.  The van must take precident, as I've booked the annual trip to the Manx GP.  It will be my house after all!

-Cash is also an issue.  I was prepared to heamorrhage cash, but ojeezuzsufferingfeck its dear!  (fingers in ears- laa laa laa laa laa!)

So I'm praying to the great god of roadbikes that they keep ruuunning for the next few weeks!!!

I'd like to get a few races by the end of the season, but the next ones in 2 weeks (donnington round 5) so thats not happening.  Then I'm at IoM during the next one (snetterton Round 6&7), 8&9 are at cadwell at the start of october, so thats a maybe, and the last one at mallory at the end of october.

Your offer of a bike, loan, sale or swap is kind.  I'll drop you a line about it.  Might sell the racer as a roadbike, may keep it myself.  Either way I wont race it next season (but I DO want another season!)

cheers

andy
