XBR500 pilot screw

Hello
Just a quick question. On the XBR500, is the pilot screw turned in to make it leaner and out for richer, or is it the other way round?
I've had mine set to the standard 2 1/2 turns but it's running a bit rich.
Thanks very much,
Dave

Dave,
As no one has yet given you a definitive answer try this:
There is a note in my w/shop manual that says "in to richen". I must have picked up the info years ago but it's probably valid.

Screw-in to richen the mixture has been the norm as far as I can remember.

Thanks Dick and Nell
I'm surprised at how little information I've managed to find on this, most of it conflicting. Are those colortune kits any use? I've never used one. I don't really fancy chucking £35 away if it's not worth the bother.
Thanks for your help,
Dave
