Same affliction here Richard!

However, I just remember the dynamo migrating sideways into the primary chain at 60mph on the M6 at the Carlisle Crest Hotel in a thunderstorm to know why I shall resist!

Regards, Bill

Aye,

But as sole means of transport and moving my 'world' from a bothy in rural Inverness-shire, back to the urban chic of West Herts for a very short duration. Using my withdrawn superannuation deposits of 2 years before becoming an independant student, I didn't have many options!

The 'old girl' did well as I kept her for another year averaging over 1200 miles a month as transport at college and the 6 weekly trek of 560 miles return to the Lakes on the M1 and M6.

Had a similar experience on the elevated section of the M6 south of 'Spaghetti', in the outside lane, in the evening rush. Very calm and peaceful until stopped on the hard shoulder, wondering how I got from A2B!

'Corns on the Bum'!

Thankfully, someone else has saved me from temtation, and hit the "Buy it now" button. I'll buy one, one day. I used to ride a 1957 16MS, but 350 was too small, and the sprung frame was unnecessarily lardy ;-)
