SRX jigsaw
« on: May 01, 2013, 01:15:33 PM »
Hi all.

Has anyone or does anyone know of any sports style frames a SRX400 engine has been fitted into?

I'm still struggling for money and still in desperate need of a bike so any project would sadly have to be done on the cheap.

Any ideas inspired, off the wall or truely mad would be very welcome.

Steve.

A SRX 400 is the same than a SRX 600.

Tigcraft, Over have made special frames.

But it can be fitted into Gagiva Mito 125, Suzuki RGV 250, ...

Now that is (was) a bit naughty, naughty, do think he is still hanging on to it, or was it finally split and been reincarnated as two bikes?

My regards, Bill.

Or thi sone perhaps : http://bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=301651

I'm sorry did you miss the 'cheap' part of my question?  :P    (It has made me think about a possible future project........ Hmmm fatter wallet required first).

Thanks for your other suggestions though. Annoyingly though my Cagiva Mito went just as the SRX engine arrived. Oh the pains of working with a skinny wallet.

The SRX engine 'n' stuff may still be sold off yet due to far more money going out than coming in, but I've kind of had enough of having to sell off any bikes or parts I have to keep the house ticking over, so expect some changes very soon.

Just out of interest, should my numbers come up I'm off to France in a van to visit my sister and bring back any DR800 bikes parts etc I can find. It'll be one standard and one for a sports project. So any ideas on numbers for the euro lotto?  ::)
