I could probably lay my hands on one. What do you need?

Cheers for that. I think there are a few FZR carriers, the one I am thinking of would look like this on the back.

The measurement I am looking for is the height of the casting which holds the studs, so from the sprocket mounting surface to the bottom of the post. If you look on the left of the picture you can see the casting which holds the sprocket mounting stud protrudes from the main body. Its the height of this post I need.

Cheers, yep they are destined for my project SRX but I need to get the chain alignment correct, I have carriers that are either 10mm to far out or or 10mm to close.

10 m/m out seems to have a familiar ring to it Steve!

(Monoshock/twin shock engine difference in chain alignment)

SZR carrier is too far our, TZR250 carrier too close, I am hoping the FZR400 is in the middle.

hopefully i'll find the ones that used to beno my bike. If you're using a standard swingarm it should all work except for the brake caliper mount would need to be modified and i might eve have one of them kicking about too. Personally, i would (and in fact have) go down the suzuki back wheel route for the better tyre sizes.
