Help me with my firewall

What will be a better one firewall I can download and use for free, that will come with my windows xp and won't slow it down? :(

Great suggestions of our time...

Macs are less prone to attack in the first place - cos not many people have them.  Then attacking the unix based OS is not as easy as attacking Microsoft OS.  Have Norton Firewall on mine and seems OK.

As I said not much use - just like to get a plug in for Macs where I can

ZoneAlarm by Zonelabs. Its a free download and updates regularly. Fantastic, been using it ror a couple of years with no problems at all.

I've dumped Norton as it eats so much resource and now use ZoneAlarm. I also keep the Windows firewall as an extra layer of protection.

AVG make a nice free anti-virus that can be downloaded here  http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1
