STY- So what resolutions are we all going to make and keep ??
« on: January 01, 2007, 07:38:27 AM »
Me? i'm going to try and stop putting things off until the last moment, like I have 2  bikes in the garage, both off the road, and i seem incapable of getting round to sorting them, for no other reason than i can easily find summat else to do, and put them off....pathetic....and it's a resolution I have a chance of sticking to ....happy new year one and all.

Well I started early this year and resolved to learn morse code at a decent speed (Characters at 25 words per minute, overall speed of at least 12 wpm since you ask), by the end of the holidays.
So far I'm on 32 characters out of 40 so things are looking good :)

The follow on from that is to use the skill as much as possible this year and get faster and also to work every country in Europe on 10 watts. (and try for the US/Canada as well!)

On the bikey side... to get my behind in gear and find a campsite for the Scottish rally :o
lol

My resolution is to provide a decent level of service to TC members by getting the newsletter out on time, etc.

Not making any resolutions this year as my life is in the hands of another. wife's degree is sort of taking over the family, so I'm going with the flow.
Hope to do a few things though, but I'll just keep them to myself for now just in case.

Similar to SteveL. Extract my digit and get on with things, banishing prevarication and obfuscation until at least 2008. To that end this morning I cleared the living room of its furniture and fittings, and proceeded to remove the 60s fireplace ready for its woodburning replacement! So far (famous last words) all going smoothly........

If I can apply the same simple principle to my SRX I should be able to sort out its electrical problems fairly soon.

That's why I dive ;) takes me all my time to swim 100m! lol I passed the diving swimming test by lying on my back and floating casually from one end of the pool to the other!! Much safer and easier taking your own breathing air with you ;)

Yes yes yes, but you don't deserve the cost of a stamp so you will have to wait.

I can't see how the electrics will cope with a wood burning engine?
